Please try to help out with some light cleaning on one of these days.  We need help from everyone possible, as the more that show up; the quicker the work gets done. The work isn’t that difficult and the camaraderie is great!!

Honor Hampton's Civil War Veterans

American flags will be placed on gravesites of veterans in Hampton Cemetery.  Volunteers meet Rocky Nelson (coordinator) 309-755-0362. We will seek out help from Hampton’s Scouts.

Memorial Day Service

One of our finest traditions.  The Museum will open immediately following the service.

Ride the River

Date to be determined. Volunteers needed to sell food and drink to the cyclists. A good time for all!

Family Fun Night at the Museum

This is a brand new event! Door prizes, Bingo, Trivial Pursuit, food & drinks. Prizes for the most Bingos, the top Trivia winners and more!! This will be held in our newly refurbished basement in the Museum.

Old Fashioned Summer Picnic

In basement and yard of Brettun & Black. BYOB! A Charcoal Grill will be up and running and will cook the famous Bill’s Big ‘Ol Burgers! Yum!

Trick or Treat at the Museum

Candy and ghost stories for the kids. Cooking food on the wood cook stove upstairs for us older folks. This is really a fun event!
